What's included in your "Occasional use" service
Full Safety Check (A to J)
All bolts tightened to correct torque settings. All parts inspected for damage and wear.
Check gear hanger alignment & adjust if needed (G)
A gear hanger needs to be perfectly straight to enable your gears to work smoothly and properly. We will adjust it if required, and if it's appropriate* for us to do so.
Gears adjusted and aligned (G & I)
Once your gear hanger is straight, we can set to work on making sure that your chain shifts seamlessly between your gears.
Brakes adjusted and aligned. Brake Pads/Discs Cleaned (C & F)
Your brakes are adjusted to ensure you have maximum stopping capacity. We will also remove and clean your brake pads and discs (if you have them) before putting them back onto your bike.
Chain and Drivetrain Degreased and Re-Lubricated (G, H & I)
We degrease your chain, chainrings, sprocket and both derailleurs without taking them off your bike. We then re-lubricate them with the correct product for the current riding conditions.
Wheels Trued for external nipples (internal at additional cost)
Wheels are checked for any small buckles or hops before being trued back straight again.
Tyres Pumped up
We make sure your tyres are free of debris, and will pump them up to the recommended pressure.
Test Ride
Don't be alarmed by seeing our Engineer riding your bike down the road. They are just checking that everything is working as perfectly as it should do.
Frame Cleaned and Polished (A, B, D & E)
Your bike will be returned to you looking and feeling great. Ready for your next ride.
