What's included in your "Intensive use" service

We will fully strip your bike of all it's parts and components, before rebuilding it like new.

All bolts tightened to correct torque settings. All parts inspected for damage and wear. 

A gear hanger needs to be perfectly straight to enable your gears to work smoothly and properly. We will adjust it if required, and if it's appropriate* for us to do so. 

Once your gear hanger is straight, we can set to work on making sure that your chain shifts seamlessly between your gears. We will replace your gear cables*, adjust them and set them up perfectly.

Your brake cables are replaced*, adjusted and aligned to ensure you have maximum stopping capacity. We will also remove and clean your brake pads and discs (if you have them) before putting them back onto your bike. 

We remove your chain, chainrings, sprocket and both derailleurs, before thoroughly degreasing them. We put them back and re-lubricate them with the correct product for the current riding conditions.  

A full reset of your headset will make your handlebars feel buttery smooth and steering will feel light and easy. Your bearings, shims, spacers and housing will be cleaned and put back.

A full reset of your bottom bracket will make your pedalling feel smoother and easier. We will remove all your bearings, clean them and put them back to make your bike feel like new. 

We will service both wheel hubs to make them as efficient and as smooth as possible. Helping you go faster with less effort. We take the bearings out, clean them, re-grease them (if appropriate) and put them back.

Wheels are checked for buckles or hops before being trued back straight again. 

We make sure your tyres are free of debris, and will pump them up to the recommended pressure.

Don't be alarmed by seeing our Engineer riding your bike down the road. They are just checking that everything is working as perfectly as it should do.

Your bike will be returned to you looking and feeling like new. Ready for your next ride.
